Hey, I'm Joshua Abel!
I am a data-driven engineer and founder of Abel Automations, where I design no-code and AI-powered workflows that help small businesses save time, cut manual work, and operate more efficiently.
Who I Am
I’m a full-stack engineer and data scientist based in Herzliya, Israel, originally from Los Angeles, California.
My background blends machine learning, automation, and analytics - and I love using those tools to simplify how people work.
What I Do
At Abel Automations, I build tailored automation systems using platforms like Make.com and GoHighLevel. Whether it’s automating lead capture, follow-ups, missed-call responses, or report generation, my focus is always the same: reduce repetitive work so business owners can focus on growth.
How I Got Here
I earned my B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (cum laude) from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and I’m currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Machine Learning and Data Science at Reichman University.
Before launching Abel Automations, I worked at Ernst & Young in Forensic Data Analysis, where I developed scripts and automations to process and secure large-scale data efficiently. I’ve also built MVPs for several startups, turning early-stage ideas into functional products using modern web and AI technologies.
Outside of work
Outside of automation, I’m passionate about calisthenics training, piano, and continuous learning, anything that involves improvement through consistency and creativity.
